Winter break hours

The library will be closed from December 19 to January 4. Students will be able to clear fines and fees, and remove Banner blocks from January 5 to 9, 10 AM to 2 PM. UHMC Library will resume normal hours January 12.

• library will be be closed for normal use
• you may pay your fines/fees from 10 AM to  4 PM.

Winter Interim Hours

The library will be closed December 14 to  January 6 (no services).

You will be able to pay fines and return items: January 2-4, 10AM to 4PM (no services, you cannot use the library)

Winter Break hours

During the winter break the library hours will be:

• December 16 - last day of normal library services
• December 17 - closed for normal use. Between the hours of 10 - 2, you can: return items, pay fines, and clear your record - no normal use of library: including, no computer use, no checking out of materials, no reference
• December 20 to January 2 - library completely closed, no staff available due to staff furlough
• January 3 to 7 -  closed for normal use, you can: return items, pay fines, and clear your record - no normal use of library; including, no computer use, no checking out of materials, no reference
• January 10 - open normal hours
• Monday to Thursday:  8 AM to 6 PM
• Friday: 10 AM to 4 PM
• Closed: Saturday, Sunday, state holidays

Library closed during winter break

The library will completely closed during the winter break, December 21 to January 4. You will not be able to clear your library fines or obligations during that time. You will be able to reach a librarian for reference help, but the librarian will not be able to help you with fines or fees. You will need to clear your fines or fees before December 21 or after January 4.

Please be aware that outstanding fines or fees may bar you from being able to register.
