Will you still be offering library instruction classes?
Yes, but not in the library classroom.
What do I do if I need to talk to the library staff?
You will be able to email, instant message or call a staff member.
What will the library staff be doing?
Library circulation staff will be providing services from TLC and implementing improvements in the library's systems.
Librarians will be providing reference services, teaching library literacy to students in their classrooms, offering workshops, providing individualized teaching of databases and other library resources, and doing special projects.
Librarians will be available via email, instant messaging, in person at set times in various campus locations, and by appointment.
Librarians will receive faculty requests for acquisitions to support their classes.
Technical Services library staff will be processing new materials, maintaining the library's homepage, databases, E-books, digitizing library data and other special projects.
The Distance Education Librarian will be visiting the Centers to assess library services, expand and set up services, train staff, and provide instruction.
There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance. Socrates
